The Cruise Inn Foundation processes personal data. In this privacy statement we provide answers to the most important questions about the processing of personal data. Cruise Inn strives to comply with applicable legislation regarding the processing of personal data. This is the General Data Protection Regulation with effect from 25 May 2018.

Who is responsible for the processing of my personal data?The personal data of all members are registered in a member administration system. This happens at a separate location and is not accessible online
What does Cruise Inn process personal data for?To become a member of the Cruise Inn, to start working as a volunteer, or to enter into a different relationship with us, we need personal data. With the help of this data we can take care of the communication in the right way and take care of the right information.
We want to be of service to members, subscribers and business relations as well as possible. For example, we use name and address details to maintain contact and provide information about matters related to membership such as sending posters and communication about the Cruise Inn. We use email addresses for sending digital information, such as newsletters. For this type of mailings you can easily unsubscribe yourself by replying to the e-mail.
Who can access the personal data?Personal data is stored safely and carefully and no longer than is necessary for use within the association or for the purpose for which it was processed. We are aware that this information is entrusted to us and that we must treat it confidentially.
The secretary and the person in charge of the membership administration can view the membership data and also make changes. The secretary maintains the other personal data.
Exchanging personal data with external partiesCruise Inn does not exchange personal data with external parties, unless a justified purpose is served with it and an agreement has been agreed with this party (for example for the member administration or hosting of the website).
How long is your data stored?Data related to membership are retained in a limited form after termination of the membership in order to be able to generate statistical information such as membership numbers over the years. Regulatory requirements apply to the storage of this data.
Insight in your personal details at Cruise InnEach member is entitled to inspect the membership data that Cruise Inn processes. Please contact the members administration for this. If you wish, you can request to change or delete the registered data.
